"We know this because the numbers don't lie."
But this - maternal discrimination - can be prevented. The first thing Ballard says we need to do to overcome these stigmas is understand that mothers are neglected in the workplace. She says we need to know what it looks like and what it looks like.
For example, Ballard's colleagues should remember, “Well, we shouldn't include Robin in this project because she has small children in her house and it's travel related.

“As far as colleagues are concerned, it is important to look inside to be absolutely clear. I used to classify my mother before I became a mother. But I never knew that I was being discriminated against. workplace, come first.
Ballard wants to reiterate: "When women work, it's important to acknowledge that they want to be there."
